1. Enterprise License Grant
You buy it once, you own the right to use and modify it forever on your own servers.
Upon purchasing the Enterprise edition of RC:Storefront, you are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to deploy the software on your own infrastructure (VPC, dedicated servers, or bare metal).
You are granted full access to the source code repository and may modify, extend, or alter the codebase to suit your internal business requirements and custom commerce workflows.
2. Usage Restrictions
You cannot resell our software or use it to build a competitor to Shopify.
While you possess the right to modify the source code for your business, you may not resell, redistribute, sub-license, or white-label the RC:Storefront engine to provide a competing "Storefront-as-a-Service" (SaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering to third parties.
The software is strictly licensed for first-party enterprise usage. If you are an agency building for a client, the client must hold the primary license.
3. Support & Security Updates
Software works forever. Support and new features require an annual renewal after year one.
All Enterprise licenses include 12 months of prioritized engineering support and continuous security patches. Our team provides SLA-backed assistance for architecture planning, migration, and deployment.
Following the initial 12-month period, the software will continue to function in perpetuity without any recurring fees. However, access to the private repository for new major version upgrades, features, and continued engineering support requires an annual renewal fee.
4. Limitation of Liability
Since you host it, you are responsible for keeping your servers secure and online.
Because RC:Storefront is self-hosted and you control the deployment environment, database, and infrastructure, RetailCoder LLC cannot be held liable for data breaches, downtime, or lost revenue caused by misconfiguration, server failure, or third-party integrations.
