Your data lives on your servers. We cannot see it, touch it, or access it.
When you deploy RC:Storefront, your Postgres database, Redis cache, and all associated microservices live exclusively within your VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) on AWS, Azure, GCP, or bare metal.
Unlike SaaS platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce), RetailCoder developers and engineers have absolutely zero access to your instances, sales data, customer Personally Identifiable Information (PII), or operational metrics. You are the sole custodian and owner of your data.
2. Zero Telemetry & Analytics
No hidden trackers in our source code. You own your analytics.
We strictly do not inject any hidden telemetry, trackers, or "phone home" analytics into the core open-source or enterprise source code.
If you wish to use Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, or custom Snowplow pipelines, you must explicitly configure those integrations manually within the codebase. We believe that analytics should be an opt-in, sovereign choice, not a hidden default.
3. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Because the RC:Storefront engine is entirely self-hosted, the burden and capability of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) compliance lies within your deployment architecture.
However, we have engineered the data models and API routes to easily facilitate right-to-be-forgotten requests, data export capabilities, and strict PII encryption at rest using AES-256 standards, enabling you to achieve compliance effortlessly.
4. Marketing Website Data
This website only uses essential cookies and Turnstile for security.
This marketing website (storefront.retailcoder.com) collects only strictly necessary data to function. If you submit a contact or lead form, your information is processed securely via our internal RC:OMS instance and stored in a private database.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, which operates without utilizing third-party marketing cookies. We do not sell your contact information to third parties.
